New Spanish Music For Guitar | Adam Levin
Adam Levin makes his New York solo recital debut at Le Poisson Rouge celebrating the launch of his first Naxos recording, 21st Century Spanish Guitar, Vol. 1., the first of four volumes documenting his major collaboration with 30 of the new century’s ‘Spanish Masters.’ Levin’s program builds bridges from the past with music by Eugène Ysaÿe, J.S. Bach, and Joaquín Turina, alongside new virtuosic works dedicated to him by Ricardo Llorca, Eduardo Morales-Caso, and Octavio Vazquez.

The concert, which is directed by Theresa McCarthy, will feature the talents of three-time Tony nominee Marc Kudisch, Lauren Worsham, Joshua Jeremiah, Katie Thompson, McCarthy, Eve Gigliotti, Amelia Watkins, Jeff Gavett and Cree Carrico. The evening of operatic arias, art songs, indy rock jams and musical theatre numbers will include compositions by David T. Little, Paola Prestini, Hannah Lash, Matt Marks, Rachel Peters, Joshua Schmidt, Andrew Gerle, Aaron Roche, Mikael Karlsson, Jeff Myers, Julia Meinwald, Christine Donkin, Marie Incontrera, Jude Vaclavik with lyrics by Royce Vavrek. Attendees can also expect a video premiere by Fantasy Fawn.

Ensemble Signal | Pop-Up Concert
For the first Pop-Up Concert of the 2013-14 season, Ensemble Signal presents three premieres, including a world premiere of a new work by Hilda Paredes, a composer with whom the group has worked closely over many years.
