In Rolnick’s corner will be plugged-in-violinist-about-town Todd Reynolds and Bang On A Can All-Star pianist Vicky Chow. Marks’s crew will feature downtown piano diva Kathleen Supové, Alarm Will Sound violinist Courtney Orlando, trumpeter Mike Gurfield (of Signal and the Deviant Septet), and flutist Domenica Fossati (of Concert Black and Underground System). And of course, both composers will be on hand and on stage. And it’s entirely possible that the two groups will face off on stage for a free-for-all before the evening is done.
