This week: live streamed concerts (March 23, 2020 – March 29, 2020)

Less Than 10

Through a combination of streaming and recording, Less Than 10 provides the performing arts community with live-streamed performances while shining a light on the social, economic, and interpersonal ramifications of the current public health crisis. Each concert adheres to safe social distancing practices, and donations will be funneled into various Austin charities supporting the arts. For their inaugural stream, Less Than 10 will feature music performed by core collective members who’ve lost performances due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Each performance will be buffered by talks with collective members about their work.

Duo Charango Coronavirus Relief Benefit Concert

Duo Charango, half Ciyadh Wells, half Jamie Monck, is a guitar duo aimed at challenging the notion of what a “classical” guitar duo can be. As a duo, they wanted to do something to help their creative colleagues who have been deeply impacted by what is currently happening in the world. Their hope is to raise funds to help the Artist Relief Tree (ART) reach their goal of raising more than 1 million dollars to help support artists through emergency grants and other resources. They will both play solo sets which will be followed by a duo performance and ending with a question and answer session.
